Why is the board ‘Please Maintain Silence’ hung in a hospital?
Why do we pray to God silently for a few seconds (or demonstrate our devotion by flower garlands, sweets etc) rather than screaming at the top of our voices, begging to fulfill our desires/wishes?
This is because ‘silence’ can speak volumes even without uttering a word. That’s the immense potential and beauty of silence!

To be QUIET V/S SILENCE
Being quiet, is particularly confined to the absence of sound/voice. On the contrary, silence refers to absence of sound supplemented by a feeling of inner satisfaction, peace or anger depending upon the circumstances. Silence could one of the best answers which could be given because it has the capability to speak volumes even without uttering a word! However, being quiet may be interpreted as the inability to answer a particular question or problem. Being quiet may refer to not speaking anything due to fear, despite being oppressed. However being silent, refers to accumulating the feeling of anger/elimination/rejection, and giving an exceptional response by your actions rather than arguing (arguing here refers to disputing constantly without a particular outcome) (Note that: The above responses/cases can be modified and changed depending upon the circumstances)
